Student-asisstent for TealHelix project

We are seeking a motivated master’s student to join the TealHelix project as a Student Assistant for a 1-year position starting on November 15. This is a 0.1 FTE position.

Your function

The TealHelix project aims to improve how consumers make decisions about sustainable food by creating more personalized and inclusive labelling approaches. As a student assistant, you will work closely with Associate Professor Michail Kokkoris and Dr. Jonathan D'hondt and support research, analysis, and administrative tasks related to this cutting-edge initiative.

Your profile

Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a Master’s program
  • Strong analytical and project management skills
  • Interest in sustainability, technology, and innovation
  • Knowledge of research methods and experimental design
  • Statistical skills (e.g., SPSS) and survey programming skills (e.g., Qualtrics)
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English language

  • a salary € 2.951,00 (SA) gross per month, on a full-time basis. This is based on UFO profile Student assistant level 103. 
  • a position for 0.1 FTE. Your employment contract will initially last 1 year.

  • A full-time 38-hour working week comes with a holiday leave entitlement of 232 hours per year. If you choose to work 40 hours, you have 96 extra holiday leave hours on an annual basis. For part-timers, this is calculated pro rata.
  • 8% holiday allowance and 8.3% end-of-year bonus
  • discount on (and occasionally exclusive access to) theater performances and courses at the Griffioen Cultural Center
  • solid pension scheme (ABP)
  • a wide range of sports facilities which staff may use at a modest charge
