Doing an internship at VU Amsterdam

Are you a student at an institute of secondary vocational education (MBO), university of applied sciences (HBO) or a research university in the Netherlands? Then VU Amsterdam offers the possibility of doing an internship.

Does your internship meet the requirements? Then we will sign an internship contract.

For a paid internship, you receive a trainee allowance. This is a fixed amount and does not depend on the number of hours of your internship. The amount of this monthly allowance is:

  • MBO students: € 300 bruto per month

  • HBO en research university students: € 400 bruto per month
