Our teams can boast a wide range of expertise. We advise on strategic communications within VU Amsterdam, and we ensure our house style and branding policy are consistent. Our design studio creates communications resources – from online magazines to annual reports – and guides their production. We also support the organisation of conferences, symposia and other events. We are also responsible for VU.nl, assisted by VU Amsterdam’s content managers, and for the magazine Ad Valvas (VU Amsterdam’s newspaper), where we involve students and staff in topics that are important to the entire VU community.

In all our activities we work closely with faculties and departments. Together we discover new opportunities that allow us to get closer to our target groups, while developing creative communications that fit the strategy and core values of VU Amsterdam. In these ways we are contributing step-by-step to a university that is open, future oriented and communicative.

That means working in a dynamic and enjoyable working environment with a team of colleagues from different disciplines on widely diverse communications projects. Communication & Marketing employs over 110 communications professionals divided into 7 teams.
