We tackle the complex social problems facing us today, which demand a broad transdisciplinary approach. We engage in the critical study of issues affecting language, culture and society. From visual culture to artificial intelligence, from urbanisation to the history of slavery, and from organisational communications to fake news. We gain inspiration by learning from each other and moving across academic boundaries. By sharing knowledge and exchanging views we can find solutions that make a positive contribution to society; together we can turn the most difficult problems into a series of opportunities.
