The Faculties of Dentistry of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Amsterdam cooperate in ACTA, the Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam. We focus on all aspects of dentistry: from high-quality education to excellent research and top quality dental care.
Working at ACTA means being involved in leading research and education at one of the world’s top dental institutes: ACTA placed 8th in the 2017 QS World University Rankings. ACTA is not only a teaching and research institute, but also a healthcare institution. You will work with colleagues from various academic and healthcare disciplines. ACTA employs approximately 500 individuals and is home to around 900 dentistry students. We treat an average of 300 patients per day.
